SICET 2025
A Multidisciplinary approach to Innovation
The 4th SLIIT International Conference on Engineering and Technology (SICET 2025) was successfully held from 9th to 11th September 2025 at the Marino Beach Hotel, Colombo, and the SLIIT Malabe Campus. Organized for the fourth consecutive year by the Faculty of Engineering, SLIIT, the conference served as a global platform for academics, researchers, and industry professionals to share pioneering ideas and foster collaboration across multiple disciplines in engineering and technology.
SICET 2025 received 177 paper submissions and featured 12 specialized technical tracks, with presentations from both local and international universities, industry experts, and postgraduate students. Twelve pre-conference workshops were conducted between May and September 2025 at the SLIIT Malabe Campus, delivered through online, in-person, and hybrid formats, led by distinguished academics and industry professionals.
The event included an official inauguration ceremony, technical sessions, and a closing ceremony. International partnerships with Curtin University, Australia, and Lusofona University, Portugal, added to the conference’s global dimension, further strengthening SICET’s role as a hub for innovation, scientific dialogue, and knowledge dissemination.
