  • Inauguration Ceremony & Gala Dinner: An additional fee of LKR 10,000 applies for local student authors, general participants, and student participants, separate from the registration fees listed above.
  • One-Day Excursion: Participation in the excursion requires an additional fee of USD 50 per person, separate from the registration fees listed above.

Publication Opportunities/ Conference Proceedings

All accepted papers will be eligible for publication in the conference proceedings. High-quality selected papers will be eligible for publication in the Scopus-indexed journals listed below. Papers considered for journal publication will be required to undergo a full peer-review process in accordance with the standards and requirements of the respective journals.

  1. Trans Tech Publications Advances in Science and Technology
    An Article Processing Charge (APC) of 130 Euros will be charged for publication.
  2. Emerald Publishing Special Issue in the International Journal of Disaster Resilience in the Built Environment
    No Article Processing Charge (APC) will be charged.

Special Issue Theme: Enhancing Disaster Resilience in the Built Environment through Sustainable and Smart Engineering Solutions

Focus areas include resilience, climate adaptation, smart engineering, and sustainable infrastructure.

Payment Guidelines

  1. Option 1 – Debit/Credit Card payments (with commission of 1.5%)

  2. Option 2 – Wire Transfer

  3. Option 3 – Direct Deposit 

For All Conference Attendees

  • All requests for registration transfers must be submitted in writing and emailed to by 15 August 2026.
  • All payments made via wire transfer must be received within 14 days of registration for the registration to be confirmed.
  • Attendees in all registration categories may separately purchase tickets for accommodation and transportation on 1 and 2 September 2026, as well as for the excursion on 3 September 2026.
  • All refund or cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and emailed to by 15 August 2026. An administrative fee of USD 20 will be charged for each refund request.

Transfer Policy

  • All requests for registration transfers must be provided in writing. Registration rate difference will apply depending on the Authors Affiliation of the new registration. All transfer requests received AFTER 15th August 2026 will be charged an additional US $20.

PRESENTER SUBSTITUTION POLICY/ VIRTUAL PRESENTATION

  • Presenter Availability: If the author of a paper is unable to present at the conference, the TPC Chair may allow a qualified substitute presenter or a virtual presentation.
  • Request Process: To make such a request, complete theSubstitute Presenter Form no later than 15th August 2026.
  • A copy of the form will be sent directly to the TPC Chair for approval.

Virtual Presentation Policy​

  • Local participants are generally expected to present in person. They are only eligible for a virtual presentation if they provide relevant proof of their departure from Sri Lanka or documentation of a valid health concern.
  • International participants (those residing outside of Sri Lanka) are eligible to present their work virtually.
