Guidelines for International Participants
Welcome to the 4th SLIIT International Conference on Engineering and Technology (SICET 2025)! If you are an international participant, you may require a visa to travel to Sri Lanka. The SICET 2025 organizing committee is here to assist you in obtaining the necessary documents for a smooth visa application process.

Step 1: Check Your Visa Requirements
Visitors to attend SICET 2025 to Sri Lanka may require a business visa based on their nationality. Please check the Sri Lanka Immigration & Emigration website for updated visa requirements.
Step 2: Request a Visa Invitation Letter
If you need a visa invitation letter to support your application, follow these steps:
Register for SICET 2025 – You must complete your conference registration before requesting a visa letter.
Submit a request via sicet@sliit.lk
- Full Name (as in passport)
- Passport Number
- Nationality
- Affiliation & Address
- Conference Paper ID (if applicable)
- Contact Email
Note: The invitation letter is only for visa purposes and does not guarantee approval by the Sri Lankan authorities.
Step 3: Visa Application Process
Once you receive the Visa Invitation Letter, apply for a Sri Lankan visa via the official Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) System.

Visa processing time may vary, so we recommend applying at least 4–6 weeks before the conference.
