Call For Papers

The 2026 5th SLIIT International Conference on Engineering and Technology (SICET 2026) will take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from September 1st to  4th September, 2026. Under the theme “Engineering Resilience through Sustainable and Smart Solutions” the conference aims to index its proceedings in Scopus, Google Scholar, and other major indexing databases. SICET 2026 will showcase a comprehensive, high-quality technical program across 16 specialized tracks, featuring keynotes, workshops, and an engaging industry program. The conference will bring together leading researchers, industry professionals, and government representatives, offering insightful panel discussions, business and industry forums, and technological exhibitions, making it an essential event for academia and industry alike.

PLEASE NOTE: Only original papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere will be considered. Prospective authors are invited to submit technical papers of their previously unpublished work.

All papers for technical track papers should be submitted via Conference Management Toolkit (CMT).

Technical track papers should be written in English language.

Double blind reviewing process will be used, and the accepted papers will be published as a special issue of Scopus indexed journal (details of the Scopus indexed journal will be published soon).   All submissions undergo a double-blind review, meaning both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other. Each paper is evaluated by at least two experts in the relevant field, assessing factors such as originality, research design, clarity, soundness of results, readability, organization, and relevance to the conference tracks.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
