The 2025 4th SLIIT International Conference on Engineering and Technology (SICET 2025) will take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, at the Marino Beach Colombo Hotel from September 9 to September 12, 2025. Under the theme “Next-Generation Engineering for Digital and Sustainable Solutions,” the conference aims to index its proceedings in Scopus, Google Scholar, and other major indexing databases.
SICET 2025 will showcase a comprehensive, high-quality technical and industry program across 12 specialized tracks, featuring keynotes, workshops, and a dedicated Industry Track. The Industry Track is designed to bridge academia and industry by providing a platform for industry professionals to share real-world innovations, best practices, challenges, and solutions.
The conference will bring together leading researchers, industry professionals, and government representatives, offering insightful panel discussions, business and industry forums, and technology exhibitions, making it an essential event for both academia and industry.
PLEASE NOTE: Industry papers must present original work, case studies, process innovations, or field-based insights that have not been published or submitted elsewhere. Submissions should focus on practical implementations, experiences, or applied technologies relevant to any of the SICET 2025 tracks.
- Industry paper submissions should be made via the official SICET 2025 submission portal.
- Papers should be written in English, using the SICET Industry Paper Template (2–3 pages in length).
- Industry papers are not subject to double-blind review.
- Each submission will be evaluated based on practical relevance, originality, clarity, and contribution to industry practice.
The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bare all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
